Rudy Roybal
Head Pastor
Rudy is a faithful, line‑by‑line teacher of God’s Word who never sidesteps the difficult passages of Scripture. Before joining His Redeeming Grace, he spent many years teaching Bible studies at Shadow Hills Church under the leadership of Pastor Michael Rochelle, developing a deep love for helping people understand and apply the truth of God. Just as in his career as a firefighter, he is every bit as devoted to rescuing souls from eternal flames.
He is married to his high school sweetheart, Sabrina, and together they have three children: their son Darren and twin daughters, Hannah and Hailey, all now stepping into adulthood with the same strength and character their parents have modeled.
When Rudy isn’t working at the fire station, you might find him in his garage welding, building, or creating something unexpected. And if he’s not crafting a project, he’s probably dreaming up a wild, hilarious activity or game. His energy seems endless, and his sense of humor shows up whether he intends it or not. Those who know him appreciate his unique way of seeing the world and the joy he brings into every room.
Yet beneath the creativity and humor is a man with a deeply compassionate heart. Rudy cares profoundly for people, cherishes his family, and lives with a steady, authentic faith in God. Above all, he is committed to walking in obedience to his Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ, and helping others do the same.

Sabrina Roybal
Pastor's Wife and
Behind every great pastor is an amazing and Godly wife, and Sabrina embodies that truth with quiet strength and unwavering grace. She is kindness, authenticity, and servant-hearted leadership personified; truly the other half that makes our ministry complete.
On any given Sunday, you might find her in the media booth running the live feed, or moving through the building before service making sure every detail is ready. If you attend either the Roots or Bloom Bible studies, you’ve likely enjoyed one of her home‑cooked meals, because Sabrina doesn’t just serve, she pours love into everything she prepares.
Sabrina has been married to Rudy, her high‑school sweetheart, since 1999. Together they raised and homeschooled their three children, now grown, who carry the imprint of her patience, wisdom, and steady devotion. She has a genuine love for people and animals alike, and she brings warmth into every space she enters.
And if you’ve ever tasted her soups, you already know—they’re legendary. Be sure to grab a bowl at our monthly potluck fellowship on the first Sunday after service.
